Worcester Poolside Deck

This backyard already had a round above-ground pool — the challenge was building a deck that could hug its curve cleanly while giving the family a real outdoor living surface instead of a ladder and a patch of gravel.

We framed the deck on pressure-treated posts and footings, curving the rim joist to follow the pool wall exactly, then topped it with Trex Select composite decking and a white-and-black Trex Select Classic railing system. A built-in staircase with a self-closing safety gate keeps the pool code-compliant and safe for kids.
